Talent Attained
Talent Attained
I discovered that myself and others are guilty, at one time or another, of being jealous of people with natural talent. A talent that they were born with and discovered that they had a natural ability of doing a task without much effort or trial and error to accomplish. While everyone looks at them with a bit of jealousy, I see the other side of the coin. Most of the time people tend to take something like this for granted and let it go to the way side. The reason being is that they did not have to earn it, it was just a gift. And how do humans act with a gift? Typically it gets used, abused and tossed to the side. There was no time, money, trial and error, failure and success attached to it. Therefore, there is no appreciation to have earned it. There is a lot to be said about earning and striving for something, you will at the very least, respect it and have less of a chance to take it for granted. In all reality our money and time our among the most valuable things we have. And when we use them to attain something rather then have something given to us, we appreciate it more. There is a reward there and a deeper connection to what we have to strive for. So if you have a natural ability or talent to do something, learn to respect it and appreciate it and try not to take for granted. For the ones on the other side of the spectrum, leave the jealousy at the door and go earn it. You'll have a deeper respect for yourself and a appreciation for what you have earned.

Inspiration
When a moment of inspiration hits you, do not waste it. Do not wait for a more convenient time to try and use them to create, do not think they will stick around to wait on you because in all reality, they won't. These moments are fleeting and are few and far between compared to the entirety of life. They come when you least expect it and more then likely when you are not prepared for it. Seize them, no matter what you are doing and use them to every advantage you can. Write it down, record it, repeat it a hundred times, whatever you have to do to retain them and keep them with you. They are a gift from your mind, the universe, god or whatever mindset or belief you want to pin it on. And what you do with it and how you use it, is truly on you. Do not take it for granted, do not cast it aside and assume it will come along again at a more convenient time, it won't. Seize the moment of inspiration and make the most of it. I truly believe that myself or anyone else living and breathing can't truly explain inspiration or what, why or when it comes into existence. You just have to except it and do all you can with it while the moment lasts. The thing is, it never lasts as long as anyone would like it too. It typically comes and goes within the matter of moments and then is lost into the ether. Then, if not taken full advantage of, you are left with regret and always wondering what would have become. It is truly a beautiful thing and I believe we all have these moments. Question is whether we recognize them and make the most of them or just let them slip away.

Helping Others
Helping people can sometimes be a pointless venture. Before you jump to conclusions, hear me out. Though it is a great and noble thing to give and something we should all aspire to do and not take for granted, nor neglect to do but it all boils down to this. You can't help someone who doesn't want to help themselves, it's that simple. Think of it this way, you could do everything in the world for someone. Give them advice, money, a place to sleep, food, clothes, the list goes on and yeah something that we should all aspire to do for each other when someone needs it. But at the end of the day though, people need to learn to help themselves and take lessons from their past, present and future. Learn to recognize the repeating, self-destructive patterns they are in, learn from it and change it. Or to put it simply, self evaluation, acceptance, learning and growth. But there is the problem, most people are in denial of what they are doing wrong, can't come to terms with their past, are in denial of their own faults and do not want to except change. No matter how obvious it all may be. A part of this may be that they fear change or their pride is getting in the way. In any sense, you can give a person all the advice in the world, all the motivation, all the love and support but if they do not want to do for themselves, then it's a pointless venture. It's all on the individual in a world filled with knowledge, opportunity and caring people. We all have our faults, strengths and weakness's, how we deal with them and learn from our past them that will determine our future.

Bored? How The Hell?
I hear this a lot and I don't understand it, "I'm bored and I have nothing to do." I have no concept of how anyone could be bored in this day and age. There is a world of entertainment and knowledge to be had, right at your fingertips. Let alone what other physical things you could be doing, (Go ahead, get your mind in the gutter for a second, it's fun). Netflix alone has more documentaries then most could watch in a lifetime, let alone everything else that could entertain you on their for decades. I do get one thing though, that people do get bored with routine and become stagnate. The good new is that it's an easy thing to fix, simply try something new. I would say the best way to overcome boredom, the same old routine or feeling uninspired is to first get a thirst for knowledge, it will definitely make your life more interesting and fulfilling. Not only that, but it will make it better by gaining useful knowledge to not only understand the world around you but to understand yourself and what you might be looking for in life. Another quick cure to this boredom and stagnation is to venture out and take a look at the world for a minute and keep your cell phone in your pocket for a few minutes (your not that important, none of us are). The outside world is a beautiful place, regardless of what you see on the news every night and by the way, turn off the news while your at it, it's poison. People are not as bad as what the media makes them out to be but hey fear sells and everyone is buying so why not? Anyway, take the time to explore the world or your home state for that matter. If your money is low and you can't get out, see the museums in your home town or discover it from your digital device. Each place in this world has it's own beauty to offer. So do yourself a favor and go see it and yes take the phone out of your pocket and take a picture. I'm not that cynical for bitchin out loud. There are rivers, mountains, fields and incredible cities that are designed by some incredibly smart engineers and built by the most down to earth, the blue collar. Take the time to see all this, learn about it and appreciate it. You'll never be bored. Oh yeah, read a book once in awhile, they do help with boredom.
